Please Use Responsibly – Ethical Considerations of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice
The use of Artificial Intelligence in the legal field has become increasingly commonplace, but
legal professionals need to use extreme caution when using AI in the context of their practice. 
In this presentation, we will explore common issues surrounding the use of AI in the legal
industry, legal precedent set to date based on attorney missteps in the use of AI and how
courts and state bars are addressing the use of AI by attorneys. We will also discuss attorneys’
professional obligations relating to privacy and information-sharing when using AI systems.
