Evaluating Structural Damage Due to Catastrophic Events

This presentation is intended to assist insurance adjusters in their evaluation of property damage due to Catastrophic Events for insurance coverage purposes. This course will help insurance adjusters understand the forces that cause damage to structures during various types of high wind events, flooding, and fire. Other issues discussed in this course related to property damage assessment include recognizing pre-existing damage and understanding long-term and ongoing conditions unrelated to the named peril. This course provides various examples of damage caused by these events and how to distinguish that damage from other damage sources.
